Culture VR - Luna’s Earth

Luna’s Earth

about

How can teenagers be interested in the complex issues of the 21st century, such as the environment, the humanities and social sciences, and responsibility? How to make them question themselves, and how to make them take part in it?

Luna, a young girl eager to learn, follows her grandfather on her scientific expeditions as soon as she can. Each volume of the series takes the heroine and her readers to a different country, with different problems, on scientific expeditions that really existed, although transposed into a novelized universe.

The application provides access to the stages of Luna’s adventures, one island per book, their high quality illustrations, as well as a dossier, providing surprising answers to the questions raised by the story. Interactive timeline, quizzes and images join the analyses to arouse the curiosity of teens. In each book, a role-play shows that the choices are complex when you put yourself in the shoes of others.

The application uses game and adventure novel codes to expose these issues and to allow its readers to better understand the Earth, to better understand it as well as to dream it. The “Terre de Luna” application is a small world that speaks of ours.

The author Marc Galvin called upon Cassandre Poirier-Simon (studio Myth_n). Associated with the NGO GRAD-s and the Antipodes social science publishing house, they all set up this project out of passion.
